finding your style

No offence, but this home is not my style; I'm not drawn to cast iron beds or furniture. However, I do appreciate when people find their own style and they stick to it so the outcome is somehow complete. It's almost as if these rooms are talking to each other. I like that. And I really like some of the china.

  3. I cannot more agree, Lisa...!
The whole rooms are connected to each other with a common style.
In earlier times I thought it`s boring to create rooms or a house in (almost) same colours, but nowadays I think different.
I think, the eye is always looking for perfection, no matter in what style.
Have a sun shiny day, Beate :)

  6. Thank you ladies for your comments. That window was the first thing that caught my eye. I'd love a turret with French windows, I think that's gorgeous.

Maria, I know that feeling. Just go ahead and post it! It's fun to see how differently we blog about these things.

  9. Ooow... I would happily walk around the house & stay there for quite some a while. Especially the bed I adore. Looks very inviting. All I would need than is someone to clean it for me and make my bed... Or is it than called a hotel? Haha. Love the post. Thanks for sharing.
